Hi, I’m Öncel

and this is my story.

the Spark

Many years ago, I fell in love with the space between chaos and order. Back then, design wasn’t a job. It was how I made sense of noise.

That spark never went out.

ART DIRECTOR / 2008 - 2014
Chapter I

I began in advertising, where ideas had seconds to live. It taught me speed, instinct, persuasion. But I wanted more than attention. I wanted purpose.

I wanted utility.

A vintage teal and white computer with a curved design and a monitor, reminiscent of early 2000s technology.
Logo of Adobe Photoshop, featuring a blue background with the letters "Ps" prominently displayed.
A black pen lying beside a black cylindrical pencil holder on a gray background.
Color palette fan deck featuring a variety of vibrant paint swatches.
A black Sharpie permanent marker lying on a flat surface, with a white barrel and black cap.
A professional DSLR camera with a large lens, featuring a green-tinted glass and a sleek black body.

PRODUCT DESIGNER / 2014 - PRESENT
Chapter II

The product shift

I moved from campaigns to code. From storytelling to systems. Every pixel became a decision, every decision a pattern.

It was no longer about what we say but how it works.

Chapter III

From 0 to 1

I learned to take products from idea to system. Designing not just what people see, but how teams build and grow them. Each launch taught me the same truth:

Good design is what survives contact with reality.

Chapter IV

Now the canvas thinks back

Design has always been a conversation, between intent and outcome. Now, the canvas replies. My tools listen, learn and adapt.

The craft hasn’t changed. Only the dialogue has.
